Spay Day USA 2008 is
Here!

Spay Day USA is a national event originated by the Doris Day
Foundation to get as many dogs and cats spayed and neutered as possible. HART
participates every year in our countywide campaign along with other local humane
societies and participating vets who lower
their prices and may sometimes offer special services.
Take advantage of this "spay sale" right NOW in San Luis
Obispo County until April 11, 2008 with participating veterinarians.
Twenty-one vets have lowered their spay/neuter prices, and SLO County (Dept
of Animal Services) has allocated funds to help with the cost of this
important sterilization procedure to help reduce our pet overpopulation
problem and the big tax dollars required to take care of the problem.
